Rhubarb Flower Who Knew? is a collection of drawings inspired by my dad's Instagram posts. In my art practice I often attempt to highlight the poetic in the everyday world. Scrolling through my dad's mundane yet charming posts and their captions, I was struck by an unexpected poetry. I enjoy working from photographic references and became interested in using the slow and inefficient process of ink drawing to re-imagine Instagram photos. I hope you enjoy perusing this unusual intergenerational collaboration!
