something may come down on you
Something May Come Down on You is a devised collaboration between students at Studio 58 and co-directors Keely O'Brien and Randi Edmundon. It was presented as part of Studio 58's Risky Nights series (October 2025).

Part personal storytelling, part teen dance competition and part 80s Save-On-Foods lore, Something May Come Down on You asks: could this be doomed from the start? What unfolds is a chain of near-misses and almost-miracles, teetering on the edge of collapse.

Working together in a devised creation process, we started from scratch uncovering a burning question: How does it feel to be a part of something that is doomed to fail? Our question led us to verbatim text about artistic failures, research about historical and structural failures, allegory about societal failures, intimate conversations about personal failures...and somehow a story about Save-on-Foods and a lot of grapes.
