about the project:

Small Memorial is a series of community activations, gatherings, and celebrations centered around a specific East Vancouver home slated for demolition. This work investigates the role of the artist in the community in the context of a housing crisis, and offers support and connection to those of us experiencing housing loss and displacement. 

Due to pandemic physical distancing requirements the public gatherings planned for this project were cancelled, but that doesn't mean that the energy and intention of the work is lost. You are are invited to "attend" a re-imagining of this event, as I wish it could have been. Click the invitation below to check it out:
