Creativity for connection
Creativity for Connection is an ongoing residency through Vancouver Arts and Health engaging seniors in creative collaboration.
Participants stay connected and creative from the comfort of home. Offered over the phone in weekly group conference call sessions, we use hands-on art practices to explore a variety of subjects and interests. Participants receive art supply kits and weekly creative prompts in the mail with the goal of combining collaborative practices and independent creation. Working in three languages (Mandarin, Cantonese, and English) we are able to engage in our own individual projects and skill development while also finding ways to work collectively, connect as a group, and share questions and ideas.
