Half carnival pageant, half funeral march, Apocalypse Parade invites you to draw from a hat to decide the fate of human life on earth.
Apocalypse Parade is an immersive, site specific, roving, parade-theatre performance which depicts parallel universes in the year 2050: one is a celebration of achieving our climate change goals and the other is a funeral march to mourn our failure and the loss of the world as we know it. The two processions incorporate the audience and travel through Granville Island lead by multi-disciplinary performers. This musical storytelling tour invites the audience to collectively imagine how our individual actions in the present may result in the various outcomes of the future.
